Since joining the firm in 2021, Jason has built a solid record of diligent, client-focused advocacy, applying a pragmatic, detail-oriented approach to help clients evaluate risk early and pursue efficient, practical solutions.
Prior to joining Hickman Robinson, Jason practiced at two San Diego-based law firms, where he developed a strong foundation in general civil litigation. This litigation background informs his transactional practice, allowing him to proactively identify and navigate legal risk when negotiating and drafting complex commercial contracts.

Jason’s real estate practice spans the full lifecycle of property ownership, including purchase and sale transactions, title matters, commercial leasing, encroachment and boundary issues, and partition actions. He regularly guides clients through all phases of real estate purchase/sale transactions, from negotiating terms and drafting complex purchase agreements, to due diligence, closing coordination, and post-closing matters. He also has extensive experience drafting and negotiating commercial leases on both the landlord and tenant side.
In addition to his real estate work, Jason advises business clients on entity formation, business sales, contract drafting and negotiation, risk management, and litigation strategy.

Jason earned his Juris Doctor from UC Davis School of Law in 2018, where he received a full merit-based scholarship and served as Executive Editor of the UC Davis Law Review. He graduated with honors from UC Santa Barbara in 2013 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.
